Return to Monkey Island is a point-and-click adventure game that continues the story of Monkey Island 2 and you will need to solve different puzzles as you progress through the story. To do this, you will need to explore new locations, talk to different NPCs to gather information and use the correct items at the appropriate time.
As you progress through the game, you will be able to unlock new and hidden achievements such as the Bragging achievement.
This guide will tell you how to get the Bragging achievement in the game.
Bragging Achievement Guide – Return To Monkey Island
In order to unlock the Bragging achievement, you will need to tell every character on Melee Island that you are going on an expedition to find the secret of Monkey Island.
There are a total of 13 locations that you need to visit and brag about the secret to NPCs in these locations.
Location-1: Lookout (Part 1)
First, you need to inform the old guy about the secret in the Lookout during Part 1.
Location-2 Pirate leaders in Scumm Bar (Part 1)
Visit the Scumm Bar during Part 1 and go all the way across to the end to talk to the Pirate leaders sitting there and tell them about the secret.
Location 3: Cook in Scumm Bar (Part 1)
Go through the door next to where the Pirate leaders are sitting and tell the cook about the secret of Monkey Island during Part 1
Location 4: Bunch of Pirates in Scumm Bar (Part 1)
Enter Scumm Bar and talk to the group of Pirates sitting at the table near the entrance of the bar.
Location 5: The Voodoo Lady in International House of Mojo (Part 1)
Enter the International House of Mojo during Part 1 and talk to her about the secret.
Location 6: Wally in Wally’s Maps n More Shop (Part 1)
Visit Wally’s Map’s n More Shop and Talk to Wally about the secret during Part 1
Location 7: Otis in Jail
Visit the Jail and talk to Otis about the secret during Part 1
Location 8: Stan in Jail (Part 1)
Next to Otis’s cell in Jail, you will be able to talk to Stan and tell him about the secret in Part 1
Location 9: Locke in Locke Smith Shop (Part 1)
Visit the Locksmith Shop and talk to him about the secret during Part 1
Location 10: Cobb in Scumm Bar (Part 1)
Go to the Scumm Bar again and talk to Cobb, the purple suit-wearing guy sitting in the corner of the Bar to tell him about the secret in Part 1.
Location 11: Carla in the Governor’s Mansion (Part 1)
Visit the Governor’s Mansion and talk to Carla who is wielding a sword to tell her about the secret during Part 1
Location 12: Curator in the Museum
Go to the Museum and talk to the Curator about the secret of Monkey Island in Part 1.
Location 13: Old Pirate Leaders in Fish Shop (Part 4)
Go to the Fish Shop and talk to the old pirate leaders sitting in the corner to tell them about the secret of Monkey Island during Part 4. This will unlock the Bragging achievement in the game.
