Communication and teamwork is something that can give you a leg up in your battles in War Thunder.
Luckily enough, the game has built in voice chat that you can use. All you have to do is enable voice chat in your menu settings.
You can also have the option to either have voice chat always on or have it on push to talk.

How To Communicate In War Thunder
You can access your settings by clicking on the gear icon on the upper left of your screen. You can then proceed to the “Voice Chat” tab.
There will be a toggle button for turning Voice Chat on and off at the top of the settings.
There is also a slider you can use to set the volume of the audio of your microphone and earphones.
For added convenience, there is also the option to set the Voice Chat to Push to Talk and set which button will activate it.
