Let's find out How to Terraform in Dinkum!

Dinkum is an animal crossing-inspired game where you can build your own home, explore forests and grow various things on your farm. This guide will tell you how to terraform in the game.

Dinkum: How To Terraform

When playing the game, you might come across areas that are bumpy or not slightly elevated and constructing things on them can be a bit difficult. With the help of terraforming, you will be able to flatten out these locations to place your crops or houses on them.

There are plenty of tools available to terraform land in the game and the first one is the classic shovel that you can use to take out all the dirt. It’s best used for removing a single block of land since it can take a lot of time if you wish to flatten a large chunk of land.

Next is the Compactor which is the best way to terraform land as it can quickly flatten out entire plots of land in a matter of seconds. You can commission it from Franklyn for 50,000 Dinks and you will need 6 Iron Bars,5 Gears,2 Hot Cylinders,1 Green Board and 1 Shovel with a crafting period of 1 day.

Do note that it will completely destroy the dirt or sand so if you wish to transfer some dirt to another area then it’s best to use the shovel. Another downside is that it cannot destroy dirt or sand which is located one block higher than where you are currently standing.

You will need to recharge the compactor from time to time by commissioning a Charging Station from Franklyn for 100,000 Dinks and 8 Copper Bars,8 Iron Bars,8 Bright Wires, 3 Hot Cylinders and 2 Green Boards. It can take almost half a day to charge the compactor depending on your usage.

That’s it, now go ahead and start terraforming those lands to build your beautiful town!
