After obtaining a Golden Scarab, be aware that you would also need several other items to use it to craft an item of your choice. Here they are:

- Strength – Iron Battle Medal
- Dexterity – Rough Leather Beaded Strap

- Constitution – Iron Guardsman Insignia
- 3 Timeless Shards for that Item
- For a Fire Staff you’ll need 3 Timeless Fire Staff Shards etc

- Squirmy Vines, Starmetal Weaponsmithing Charm, ETC
- 150 Azoth
The Golden Scarab can be used on any item that has an appropriate Timeless Shard. This includes Armor, Weapons, and Jewelry.
Remember, the item you craft using a Golden Scarab will be Bind on Equip. On top of that, Golden Scarabs cannot be used alongside Runestone Stopwatches. This makes it so that the max gear score you can craft using the Golden Scarab is 595-600.
