The first way to level up quickly is by completing the main story of the game as it will allow you to reach level 55 in just three days which is roughly around 30 hours of gameplay. You can easily reach level 30 in the game in just 3 hours depending on how fast you manage to complete those main quests.
After you manage to complete the main story, you can clear dungeons with your friends to quickly level up and earn some sweet gems on the way. You can also clear the random dungeons called Elder Rifts which large swarms of enemies present inside to receive legendary rewards and level up quickly.
Apart from focusing on those main quests, completing daily quests or daily bounties will also help you earn XP and loot quickly. The Bounty Board will allow you to do 12 quests each day with the option to pin 4 active quests at any period of time

Another way to level up quickly is by visiting the Library of Zoltun Kulle where you need to find 5 pages to open a portal that leads to a random dungeon.
Once you defeat the boss inside that dungeon, you will be rewarded with enchanted dust which can be used to upgrade your gear allowing you to level up quickly. Each time you will be taken to a different place with a random boss which adds an element of mystery to the game.
It is important that you always equip your best gear as it will allow you to defeat enemies easily and spend your gems wisely as they are very rare. When you come across large swarms of enemies, you should kill them first as it will help you earn the Massacre Chain bonus allowing you to earn XP quickly.
While it can be difficult to maintain the bonus when you are solo, it is recommended that you play with your friends or with other players to maintain the killstreak and gain the bonus.
